Design Brief
This project focused on creating weekly social media graphics for the Valley Christian High School Varsity Football Friday night games. Each graphic promoted the upcoming game and highlighted the dress code or theme for the night, giving students a clear visual cue for how to show school spirit.
The designs explored a range of stylistic directions, including bold brutalist layouts, layered collage-inspired styles, and more structured athletic branding. This variety kept the weekly posts fresh while still maintaining consistency with the school’s identity.
Each graphic was optimized for social media platforms and combined typography, imagery, and color to quickly communicate game information and theme details to the student body. The final set of graphics helped build excitement, support attendance, and create a cohesive visual presence for the football program throughout the season.

Process Work
The design process for the weekly football graphics involved combining a mix of stock imagery, player photos, and game or media day photography to create dynamic visuals for each theme. I selected images that supported the style of the week, whether it leaned toward brutalism, collage techniques, or a more traditional sports look.
Each graphic was assembled with attention to layering, texture, and typography to clearly highlight the theme and game details. The sets were consistently approved in the first round of revisions, with any adjustments focused on updated information rather than design changes. This allowed the workflow to remain efficient while maintaining a high visual standard.
The result was a cohesive and adaptable system of graphics that supported both the football program and weekly school spirit themes.
